Tucked away along the Wilge River, surrounded by untouched bushveld, Angels Valley Nature Lodge is where you leave the noise behind. Here, the hills stretch for miles, the river runs smooth, and the only visitors are the birds overhead and the buck roaming free.
This isn’t just another getaway, it’s a retreat into real solitude. A 20 km gravel road keeps it that way. Only high-clearance vehicles can reach us, so when you arrive, you know you’ve left the world behind.
Wake up to birdsong. Spend the day fishing in quiet waters. Watch the buck wander through the landscape. Or do nothing at all—just breathe in the stillness, with nothing but open skies above.

Perched high above the Wilge River, Mountain Dew Chalet offers panoramic valley views and complete privacy. Solar-powered and designed for comfort, this spacious retreat features three bedrooms, a cozy fireplace, a large boma with a braai, and a private pool overlooking the landscape.
With space for up to 13 guests (max 11 adults), it’s the ideal escape for families and groups looking to unwind in the stillness of the bushveld. Here, nature surrounds you, and relaxation comes effortlessly.
Paradise Tented Camp
Riverside Luxury Meets Adventure
Located along the riverbank, Paradise Tented Camp is a private glamping retreat where adventure meets comfort. Fully furnished and exclusive, it accommodates up to 8 guests, with no shared kitchens or bathrooms—just your own space to enjoy.
Each tent is thoughtfully set up, with two featuring double beds and the rest with singles. A private fishing spot and tranquil surroundings make it the perfect getaway for those seeking nature with a touch of elegance.
Silversands Campsite
Pure Simplicity, Off the Grid
For those who love true camping, Silversands Campsites offers a semi off-grid experience along the Wilge River, surrounded by mountains. Designed for tents, off-road trailers, and caravans, it accommodates up to 20 adults in a peaceful, private setting.
With no power—only lights—and a dedicated braai area, it’s a place to unplug, fish in the quiet waters, and take in nature at its best.
